USGS geologists Jim Fox and Gil Mull discovered a Hadrosaur footprint in 1975 on the Colville River. (Age: early Albian to Cenomanian)

On the Kokolik River, in 1978, USGS geologists Gary Stricker and Henry Roehler discovered trackways of a small dinosaur and unidentified footprints associated with skin impressions of the Family Hadrosauridea (Roehler and Stricker, 1984). This non-skeletal fossil information adds to our understanding of the motion and appearance of dinosaurs. (Age: early Albian to Cenomanian)
