Museum Workshops

Availability:

1.5 hours for 15-30 students

2 hours for 30-60 students

Workshops may be scheduled between 10 AM and 4 PM Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the school year.

Cost:

$4.00 per student (chaperones free)

Topics:

Ice Age Survival:
Do you have what it takes to endure the harsh conditions of the ice age? Visit the museum and learn what our ancestors needed to survive. Available to grades K-2, 3-5.

Dinosaur Detectives:
Please help us solve a mystery. Shhh! It is TOP SECRET! Available to grades K-2, 3-5.

Bone Chilling Times:
come to the museum and compare bones from the frosty ice age and beyond! Available to grades 3-5.

Kids Dig It!:
Have you ever looked at your bedroom as an archaeological dig? Find out what future people would learn about you by looking at your artifacts. Available to grades K-2, 3-5.

Rock Hound:
Examine unusual rocks to find out how they fit into the rock cycle. Available to grades K-2, 3-5.

Animal Adaptation:
Learn how animals have developed certain traits and behaviors over time to suit their environment. Available to grades K-2, 3-5.
